Strategy, Sketching transfer information to construction team how to build the robot:
- Strategy passes the instruction from the rules.
- Sketching take the Strategy resolution and designs of the robot construction to exactly how it should be.
- After the Construction team builds some of the robot they transmit the robot to the Programming team that will insert the software to the robot and then develop the conclusion and advise about the electricity.
Safety
Safety is a top value for our team. Here are our seven golden rules for safe working:
- Clothing. Always wear closed shoes, long sleeved shirts and long pants, if you have long hair- tie it up.
- Have a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher at your workshop - this is a basic necessity, in case of a fire or an accident it could be of great help.
- Always wear protective glasses and gloves while working with power tools.
- Stand at least 5 feet away from everyone who is working. Robotics workshop can be a dangerous site, especially while you are using power tools. You might get distracted and accidentally harm one of your friends.
- Have a partner near you. In case you get hurt, it's always good to have someone at shouting distance that can come to your aid.
- Have a safety attendant. He or she should note all those who break the safety rules and in severe cases prevent them from accessing the workshop.
- Deny entrance to the workshop to anyone who fails to follow all of these rules. It's better to have no robot at all than one that wasn't built safely.
Remember, your body is the only object that does not have spare parts.
P.S. - Have Fun!
